In 2022 we worked alongside the office of Sir Elton John and David Furnish to deliver their new fashion brand and supporting eCommerce store; aptly dubbed Elton John Eyewear. We delivered not only a bespoke Shopify Plus store, but we were also tasked with launching a suite of unique shopping features such as a predictive search, as well as a batch of iconic Elton-approved flourishes on the UI.

Bringing it to life

Having already teamed-up with a photographer in the US to create all of the product imagery, it was down to us to bring them to life through video production, animation, and page layout.

Telling the story

Each frame in the Elton John Eyewear collection is inspired by a story, iconic moment, or a period of history from Elton’s life. It was important to tell this story as clearly as possible, so each product detail page leads with the meaning behind the frame. Users can dive even deeper through a memorable ‘The Story’ page which uses unique parallax scrolling to breakaway from the e-commerce templates used across the rest of the site.

Full brand service

As we developed the new brand to fit the e-commerce store, it became clear that this same attention needed to be turned to their social media. We were entrusted the keys to their socials and now manage the Elton John Eyewear accounts as well as all aspects of content creation and planning.
